Methods and sources used in the textbook

This is a bilingual (Armenian-English) textbook with a combination of the structural (grammar-translation) and the interactive (communicative language teaching) methods of teaching language intended for beginners and pre-intermediate students. With the help of illustrated stories, entertaining exercises, and listening assignments, the students learn grammar and vocabulary faster, easier, and creatively. It stands out among the already existing textbooks with its teaching method and organization.

The sources for grammar are based on different Armenian textbooks:

The method, texts and illustrated stories are based on years of experience and material, which were originally written for tutoring foreigners.

This textbook provides a comprehensive introduction to Eastern Armenian while ensuring a solid command of the fundamental grammatical structures and is intended to enhance overall communication in Armenian. This is a new style in learning. The implemented method will help the students gain knowledge of the language with more ease by turning the learning experience into a game.

In addition, the textbook is designed to help students recognize common knowledge, beliefs, attitudes, and behavioral patterns of the Armenian people.
